We aim to provide a Curriculum with breadth and balance, which caters for every individual need. We will endeavour to achieve this through quality planning and evaluating individual learning plans. Each child will have a key worker who will observe and challenge the children to enhance their development.
Children extend their learning through play and exploring their environment and surroundings. We will support children through this by supplying resources to meet their needs and challenge them through the learning process. We will ensure that all equipment is suitable, in good state of repair and regularly monitored for defects and cleanliness.
We will support children and their families in all aspects of their care and development.
We will aim to do this through:
- Liaising with outside agencies.
- Support and challenge individual needs.
- Providing relevant information.
- Building good relationships between home and nursery.
- Support pre-school children in their transition from nursery to school
We provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment, where children are relaxed and happy and treated and individuals. We work in conjunction with Renfrewshire Council equal opportunities and race relations policies to ensure every individual person or family is treated fairly.
The management and staff team will establish good relationships with children, parents, carers and outside agencies. We will endeavour to continuously monitor and evaluate policies, practices and resources as this will enable us to continue with our high standard of care.
